STUDIO: WAYLAND SQUARE NEAR WOODS AND RIVER

This studio bedroom has a kitchenette and a full bathroom, on the 3rd floor (top) of a single-family home in a quiet, tree-filled neighborhood behind the Lincoln Girls’ School on the East Side. Steps away from Wayland Square, Blackstone Boulevard,... the woods, two ponds and the Seekonk river, it is also a few blocks from Whole Foods and the bus systems for the city and Brown University. The kitchenette includes a microwave, hotplate, large toaster oven and small fridge for simple cooking. You could use our family’s kitchen on occasion or a schedule, which we can discuss. Furnished with a bed, bureau, desk, chair, bookshelf, and kitchen side table shown below. Two large closets, wooden floors throughout. Shared washer and dryer in the basement (large and new). The bathroom has a clawfoot tub and a hand-held shower head (hooks to wall for shower). In the photo of the outside of the house (below), the top windows belong to the studio.

The studio is separate from the rest of the house, although you would have to pass through our house to get to the studio. The house has a shaded side porch, beautifully landscaped backyard and fire pit which you may use if you check in with our family first. There is no parking, but you can get a street parking permit from the city, and during snow storms parking bans you are welcome to park in our driveway.

We both work at Brown and are looking for a quiet tenant who appreciates the value of sharing a home with a family with 15-year old twin girls, two cats and a sweet, friendly dog. Quiet is required after 9pm, so a student or researcher would be a good fit. **One Year Lease Required**. Strictly non-smoking.

If you are interested, please email and describe what you would value about this unique living situation.
